Stripe Payment Setup

5 min read

StackBloom uses Stripe as its primary payment processor. Here's how payments work and how to set up Stripe for apps that collect payments.

How StackBloom Uses Stripe

When you purchase a StackBloom app or subscription, the payment is processed by Stripe. You'll see a charge from "StackBloom" on your bank or card statement.

Accepted Payment Methods

StackBloom accepts credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna (buy now, pay later), and Afterpay. All payment methods are available at checkout.

Forms Payment Integration

The Forms Builder supports collecting payments directly in your forms using Stripe. To enable this, go to your form settings and connect your Stripe account under the Payments tab.

Connecting Your Stripe Account

For apps that require collecting payments from your customers (Forms, Proposals, etc.), go to your app's Settings and connect your Stripe account via OAuth. This allows payments to go directly to your Stripe account.

Test Mode

Before going live, test your payment setup using Stripe test card numbers. The test card number 4242 4242 4242 4242 with any future expiry and any CVV will simulate a successful payment.

Refunds and Disputes

To request a refund for a StackBloom purchase, contact support within 30 days. For disputes from your customers using your forms or proposals, handle those through your Stripe dashboard.
