Setting Up Meeting Types

Create different meeting types for consultations, demos, interviews, and more. Set custom durations, locations, and booking rules.

Create Your First Meeting Type

Go to Meeting Types

Navigate to your scheduling dashboard:

Scheduling → Meeting Types → Create New

Configure Basic Settings

Meeting Name

Choose a clear, descriptive name like "30-Minute Consultation" or "Discovery Call"

Example: "Product Demo - 45 Minutes"

Duration

Set meeting length: 15, 30, 45, 60 minutes, or custom

Location

Choose:

  • Video call (Zoom, Google Meet, Teams)
  • Phone call (you call them or they call you)
  • In-person (your office, coffee shop, etc.)
  • Custom location

Add Description

Write a clear description that tells people what to expect:

Example:

"A 30-minute discovery call to discuss your project needs and how we can help. We'll cover your goals, timeline, and next steps."

Advanced Configuration

Buffer Time

Add buffer time before and after meetings to prevent back-to-back bookings:

Before:15 minutes to prepare
After:15 minutes to debrief/travel

Booking Window

Control how far in advance people can book:

Minimum notice:2 hours, 1 day, etc.
Maximum advance:30 days, 60 days, etc.

Confirmation Questions

Ask custom questions when someone books:

  • "What would you like to discuss?"
  • "How did you hear about us?"
  • "Company name and size"
  • "Budget range"

Pricing (Optional)

Charge for consultations, coaching sessions, or services:

Free: No payment required
Paid: Set price (e.g., $50, $150/hour)
Deposit: Require deposit to confirm (refundable)
